Vinyl with UniFusion™ Technology is a classification of plastic resin made from chlorine and ethylene. The Diamond Stat Matting from NoTrax® is formulated to drain static from the worker keeping sensitive circuitry safe from damage and is a must have in is all assembly or testing areas for circuitry, computers, chips and electronics of all kinds. For maximum effectiveness and safety it is highly recommended that the grounding cord (included with the mat) is properly attached into the mats grommet. No Trax® Diamond Stat Matting has a diamond-plate surface which is combined with a dense closed cell foam base utilizing the exclusive UniFusion™ technology. This technology provides anti-fatigue support with a textured anti-slip surface. About the NoTrax® Material Quality Testing
As members of the National Safety Council and Material Handling Industry of American NoTrax® floor matting is subject to testing by independent laboratories prior to their introduction to the market. The static dissipation for decay rate (15,000 to 500kv) in seconds for the Diamond Stat matting offered by NoTrax® without the grounding strap is 2.68 while results with the grounding strap were 1.32. This testing shows the strength and endurance of the matting when subject to electrical current.
